Description
I needed to clear my head a bit. So I went walking around Point Defiance. Thinking about everything and thinking about nothing at the same time. Shinrin-yoku (森林浴) (“forest bathing”) is to go deep into the woods where everything is silent and peaceful for relaxation or “taking in the forest atmosphere”.
It was developed in Japan during the 1980s and has become a cornerstone of preventive health care and healing in Japanese medicine.
I also had my camera with a vintage lens on it. So I’m calling this series of pictures “Vintage Zen”.
